BW Papersystems introduces ServoPro Rotary Die Cutter
Original Article was Reprinted from from the January 2021 issue of International Paper board Industry.
The ServoPro rotary diecutter features a true direct servo drive system — directly coupled to impression cylinders, print cylinders and anilox rolls. The benefits of direct servo drive are twofold; the absence of intermediary gearboxes or chain assemblies reduces parts and maintenance costs, and the direct drive allows for greater control.
Available with inside print (single or multiple colours), ServoPro users enjoy increased productivity by eliminating dual pass runs. Inside print has proven critical in growing market share in design-focused segments such as e-commerce.
The ServoPro’s die-cut section is a simple, robust system. Increased journal size, bearing capacities and drum stiffness make the ServoPro one of the most heavyduty die-cutters for its size in the market. It is designed to handle full cylinder jobs with significant amounts of rule at high speeds.
The ServoPro also features a freestanding controls pedestal for superior ergonomics. PC-based controls are organised, consistent and arranged by frequency of use with user-friendly and intuitive operator interfaces. Manuals are easily accessible on the machine console. The ServoPro offers integrated, simple to understand diagnostics with high-definition illustrations and drawings. Model Sizes Available include:
16.32 ServoPro RDC – 1676 mm x 3251 mm (66" x 128")
16.28 ServoPro RDC – 1676 mm x 2870 mm (66" x 113")
