Sylvamo do Brasil Purchases 100th SheetWizard Sheeter, Prioritizing Safety and Precision
BW Papersystems proudly announces the production of the 100th SheetWizard Sheeter, recently purchased by Sylvamo do Brasil. As a global leader in sustainable paper production, Sylvamo prioritizes environmental stewardship and safety. The SheetWizard, with its precision cutting, advanced safety features, and energy-efficient design, was selected to replace older, less technical equipment, enhancing Sylvamo’s employee safety and market capabilities. The partnership builds on trust and shared values, focusing on innovation, safety, and operational excellence.

Sylvamo’s decision to purchase the SheetWizard Sheeter was driven by its advanced safety features.
We spoke with Ulisses Ribeiro, Paul Robert Ribeiro, Marcelo Gatti Kawakani, and Jose Roberto Solano from Sylvamo about their relationship with BW Papersystems. It began through experiences with legacy brands like Marquip, E.C.H. Will, and Pemco, as well as research on the BW Papersystems website. For Jose Roberto, this marks his first introduction to the industry.
The SheetWizard Dual Rotary Sheeter by BW Papersystems offers precise and high-quality cuts for paper and board. Key benefits for customers include its superior knife performance, high speed (up to 1100 fpm), and versatility for various applications like multi-web and folding carton plants. The machine reduces power consumption and noise, while its advanced features, such as automatic pallet change and on-machine blade sharpening, enhance productivity and cost-efficiency.
When asked why they chose BW Papersystems, Sylvamo highlighted the importance of safety, precision cutting, and trust in the brand as key factors. The SheetWizard will replace two older sheeters, allowing Sylvamo to improve efficiency and expand their market by taking on more diverse projects. With the acquisition of the ServoPro we have notably reduced the set up time and also increased the productivity of the machine both in quality and quantity.
