Description of Improvement

This upgrade is part of the Technical Improvement Program (TIP); it replaces the first, second and third generation Indramat components with the latest technology of Indramat digital drives and motors.

This TIP comes with a 100Amp Indra-drive and and motor for the main axis, two (2) 40Amp Indra-drive and motors for the feed and transfer axes. Also included in this upgrade is an Indramat capacitor module for storing the regenerative energy and an Indramat line filter. Completely assembled power cables and resolver feedback cables are also included.

These drives are equipped with a two-digit digital display that informs the user about the status of the drive. Windows based programming software (not included) allows the user to monitor multiple aspects of a given axes, including gains, current and voltage draw, axis position, temperature, etc.
