TIP 030-0425 Ram Assembly Upgrade

This upgrade is part of the Technical Improvement Program (TIP); it adds electrically driven ram pusher to the machine. The original design consisted of a fixed ram plate that did not move. The new ram pusher is driven by an Indramat Indra servo drive and an Indramat Indra servo motor. A servo motor along with a gearbox is mounted to the side frame and the existing swing arm cross bracket, the ram pusher plate is then attached to a lever arm by using a new rod. A new ram pusher home prox is then utilized to determine the home position of the ram pusher.

Updates to the machine controller and the touch screen integrate the functionality of the ram pusher. This upgrade also includes a new cover plate cylinder upgrade that utilizes guide rail and linear bearings for movement. This kit comes with one (1) set of size change parts for the cover plate and the pusher plate for 8 ½ in x 11 in or A4 ream sizes.
