This upgrade is part of the Technical Improvement Program (TIP); it converts the storage bed conveyor drive from a hydraulic motor to an electric motor. This conversion consists of 3/4HP gear motor, and 1HP frequency drive.
The drive is mounted into the existing enclosure along with other enclosure devices such as relays, circuit breakers, potentiometers, etc. The machine must already have an electrical drive conversion enclosure. If this is not the case, then it must be purchased separately along with this TIP.
The motor adaptor and taper-lock bushing ensures the AC motor fits properly into the storage bed drive shaft. Some of the guards may require on-site modifications for proper fitting.
