All E.C.H. Will cut-size sheeters types SLK 460, SLK 470, SLK 480, SLK 490 and SLK Procut with touchscreen (either original or retrofitted)

 

Description of Improvement

The existing touchscreen (ProFace, Siemens, Schneider) in the operator panel is obsolete. If it should fail or break, this could cause extensive, costly machine downtime. 

This TIP upgrade provides a one-to-one replacement, exchanging the existing touchscreen (ProFace, Siemens, Schneider) with a new, modern touchscreen model. The location and size of the touchscreen will not change, hence only minor preparation or adjustments are needed prior to the installation. The existing communication interface between PLC and HMI remains unchanged.

For the operator’s convenience, functionality and operating surface also remain the same. The existing software will be checked by BW Papersystems and copied to the new touchscreen prior to delivery. Thus the new touchscreen can be easily installed on site by a local mill electrician - self-installation possible!
