Description of Improvement

Over time, after years of intensive daily, round-the-clock production, draglink unit parts wear out. As a result, knife life becomes shorter and cut quality deteriorates can occur.

This TIP module provides a complete exchange of the draglink unit and replacement of wear and tear parts such as, but not limited to, bearing and bushings of the cross cutter knife drums and drive train.

The currently installed draglink unit will become property of BW Papersystems and will be returned to one of our German facilities.

The overhauled assemblies cause less vibrations and feature reduced noise emissions and improved sheet length accuracy.
