Jagenberg Sheeters with Base Machine Type 5 with direct drive cutting unit
Description of Improvement
This upgrade is part of our Technical Improvement Program (TIP) and replaces the obsolete CT (Control Techniques) draw roll and cross cutter drive system by a new Sinamics/Simotion system.
This TIP is applicable for Jagenberg and Bielomatik-Jagenberg folio sheeters Type 5 equipped with a CT drive system for:
- Main draw roll
- Cross cutter
The currently installed CT drive and drive control components will be replaced by a Siemens Sinamics/Simotion system.
The CT electrical cabinets will be replaced by new completely pre-assembled electrical cabinets. The dimensions of the new electrical cabinets will be equal to the currently installed CT electrical cabinets. The AC motors and cabling remain as they are.
