TIP F 2180 Replacement of the “Keicher” Hydraulic Motor to AC Servo Drive
Machine Model for Improvement
Description of Improvement
This upgrade from the Technical Improvement Program (TIP) replaces the hydraulic motor of the layboy to an AC servo technology. The existing hydraulic components are obsolete and there are no spare parts available.
This upgrade contains a new driving motor for the layboy (stacker). The automatic layboy control will be replaced for a smoother and more continuous lowering of the layboy. The installation of a new electrical cabinet and control unit for the servo drives is also included.
The new servo motors with the latest technology are standard components and maintenance-free. The included components of this upgrade improve the stack quality.
