Folio-size sheeter type SHM 1400Description of Improvement
This upgrade is part of the Technical Improvement Program (TIP); it replaces the existing DC drive and a motor
combination with an AC drive and a motor. The new SEW motor has a 3-phase, 2HP with 1720 rpm specifications.
The drive is an Allen Bradley Powerflex 4 with 3-phase, 3HP capabilities. A new mounting plate and a pulley are also supplied to work with the new motor.
