The Model 163 Case Packer provides flexibility for varying ream sizes including single & double stack configurations. The case packer can be configured with straight through or side feed orientations. The optional semi-automatic size changeover with preloaded recipes reduces size change cycles.

Product Features

The Model 163 Case Packer provides flexibility for varying ream sizes including single & double stack configurations. The case packer can be configured with straight through or side feed orientations. The optional semi-automatic size changeover with preloaded recipes reduces size change cycles.

Versatility

The Model 163 combines a wide range of formats. It can produce up to 20 cases per minute (single ream stacks) in two-piece cartons. A motorized size changeover option facilitates changes in 10 minutes or less. 

Precise Blank Control

The case packer/lidder uses flighted HTD timing belts, improving the transfer of both carton and lid blanks. No flight chains are used that can stretch or break, causing product irregularities.

Robotic Cell Option

For an easy and fast handling of lid and carton blanks, the Model 163 can be equipped with a robotic blank load cell. The robot will pick stacks of blanks from a pallet to place them onto the hopper of the case packer, hence eliminating the manual work needed for replenishing blanks. 

Simple Operation

A touchscreen makes machine operation easy and convenient. In addition, the Model 163 is a very accessible machine. The electrical enclosure is mounted to the machine to create a single, simple footprint - making the Model 163 ideal as a replacement for existing case packer/lidders.

The Model 163 combines a wide range of formats. It is capable of producing up to 20 cases per minute (single ream stacks) in two piece cartons. A motorized size changeover option facilitates changes in 10 minutes or less.

Servo drives and control allow for smooth product handling and repeatable performance. It also results in fewer wear parts and less maintenance.

Precise blank control and positioning
